The Product Search A product search tool is one of the most accessed tool area on an ecommerce website. Most visitors will Visitors and customers head for the Search box tool to find products they want to buy. We have dedicated and content. With Product Search Preview Content, you can add a space to the right of your Commerce Vision site where you can highlight a product or simply use it to alert users to timely news. Step-by-step guide

To enable/disable this feature:

1. Go to Settings → Feature Management → Products & Categories.
   
2. Ensure

4. Navigate to 'Settings' --> 'Dictionary'Ensure Product Search Features is toggled ON, then click Configure.
   
   
5. Toggle ON Enable Product Search Preview Default Template or use the Override feature to restrict access.
   
   
6. Enter 'Product' in the Table Name.
7. Click 'Define'.
8. Enter the name of the field in the 'Search For' area.
9. Select 'Contains' or 'Starts With'.
10. Click 'Search'.
11. Select the field required.
12. Click 'Modify'.
13. Tick the 'Search Field' box.
14. Click 'OK' to save changesClick Save.
    
    

15. The Product Search Preview Default Template is where content is added. To access it from here, click the button.

Add Search preview content

1. Go to Content → Pages & Templates.
   
   
2. Use the Search tool to find the Product Search Preview Default Template. NOTE - If you are an administrator, you can access it from Product Search settings.

3. Click Edit.
   
   
4. Add widgets. These widgets have been created for this space:
   
   • Image with Title and Link Widget
   • Image Tile
   • Image with Title and Link

     TIP - You can add other suitable widgets such as an HTML Snippet Widget.
