Deploy Content is a CV multisite feature. It can also be used with Content Lock to send restricted from editing content to target sites. Implementation requires consultation with Commerce Vision. Source and target sites must be on the same version (min. 2022.3). CV: 105298 |
Suppose you now want a target site Administrator CMS users to be able to edit or delete a locked item you deployed? What do you do? Deploy Unlocked Status lets you unlock a previously locked content/data item and deploy just the unlocked status. Once unlocked , on the target site's , their CMS users who usually will have unrestricted access to this content type will be able to edit or delete the item.
During the Deployment Process
When selecting the data during deployment, make sure the unlocked item icon 
displays against the item.
Content Deployment Log
You can always check that the unlock status was what was deployed from the Content Deployment Log. The unlocked icon is displayed against the item deployed.
