Deploy Content is a CV ecommerce multisite feature. It can also be used with Content Lock to send restricted content that is locked from editing content to and deletion on target sites. 



Suppose you're on a source site that deployed locked content to one or more target sites. You now want target site CMS users on those sitesv to be able to edit or delete a that  locked item you deployed? What do you do? Deploy Unlocked Status lets you send an 'unlock' status to a previously locked content /data item and deploy just the unlocked statusitem previously deployed from your site. Once unlocked on the target site, their its CMS users will have unrestricted access to the itemit as per their usual role permissions for this content type.  









 

During the Deployment Process

When selecting the data during deployment, make sure the unlocked item icon displays against the item.


Content Deployment Log

You can always check that the unlock status was what was deployed from the Content Deployment Log. The unlocked icon is displayed against the item deployed.
