- Login as an Administrator.
- Navigate to 'Content - Resource Manager'.
- Type the message or keyword into the Search box at the top of the page.
- Set the search parameters ('Contains' or 'Starts With'), and hit Enter or click 'Search'.
- A list of results will be displayed. Locate the required message in the list.
- If the required message is found:
- Select the message by clicking the radio button for that record.
- Click 'Modify'.
- The 'Resource Value' and 'Description' fields will become editable at the bottom of the page. Edit text as required.
- Resource Value - the message displayed to the customer. Text can be formatted with HTML if desired.
- Description - an explanation of the message's context; used as a reference by site Administrators.
- Click 'OK' to save changes.
- If the required message is not found:
- Navigate to 'Settings - Messages'.
- Review the available tables to locate the required message. (e.g. Order Tracking Description, Order Status Description, etc.)
- Select the message by clicking the radio button for that record.
- Click 'Modify'.
- Appropriate fields will become editable. Edit message text in the 'Description' field as required.
- Click 'OK' to save changes.
