Overview
Customer Self Service (CSS) , new Users can allows for new users to be created either using the via the administration user interface, or via CSV import. This This page covers the basic set-up of new Usersusers via the admin interface.
OverviewEach user:
- Each User is assigned a unique login (normally in the form of an email address).
- Each User must be associated with an ERP Debtor Code.
- A User can have access to many Debtor Codes, or be associated with just one.
- i.e. A branch manager will access one code, a national manager will access all codes, etc (can be configured as wildcards).
- Each User must be assigned a Role (or even multiple Roles).
- Each User can have various settings applied (Order dollar limits, who approves orders, etc).

Field Name | Description |
---|---|
First Name | The Useruser's first name. |
Surname | The Useruser's surname. |
User Email Address | The Useruser's email address. This will also be the Useruser's login/ID. |
Deactivate User Account | When ticked, disables the Useruser's account. Deactivated Users users cannot log in. |
Password | The Useruser's initial password. |
Confirm Password | The Useruser's initial password (repeated). |
Initial Role After Login | The role the User user will operate on once they have successfully logged in. |
Order Limit | The upper limit dollar amount the User user is permitted to order. |
Orders Approved By | When the User user places orders exceeding their Order Limit, this is the User user who should approve those orders. |
Account Administrator | When ticked, grants access to 'Advanced/Extra User Maintenance' on the Administrator's role. Account Administrators are able to set up and maintain other Usersusers. |
To edit or delete a User user after initial set-up, navigate to 'Accounts' --> 'User Maintenance' (/zUsers.aspx).

There is a system setting to toggle whether a confirmation is requested when deleting a Useruser. This setting is called 'Show Confirm On Grid Delete/Remove' and is found under the 'General' Tab in 'Settings' (/zSettings.aspx). |
