Deploy Content is part of Commerce Vision's Franchise and Multisite website features. Contact CV to enable.

Requires: min. 2022.3 and the Menu Editor feature enabled..


Overview

For multisite control, Administrator roles on a deploying site can copy over Section Menu changes to one or more valid CV destination sites in their organisation's network.


NOTE - As a section menu is not a lockable content object, CMS users of a destination site can rollback deployed contents, and add, edit or delete these section menus.  


On this page:

Enable Deploy Section Menus

  1.  In the CMS, go to Settings → Settings → Feature Management →  Content → Deploy Content.

  2. Make sure Deploy Content is enabled, then click Configure.

  3. On the Deploy Content Feature Settings page, make sure Section Menus is enabled.
  4. Click Save & Exit.

Deploy a Section Menu

  1. On the navigation menu, go to Content → Navigation → Section Menu Editor.

  2. From the Edit Menu dropdown, select a section menu to deploy.


  3. Click the Deploy button that appears f.



  4. Click Next.

  5. Select one or more menu items to deploy.


  6. Click Next.

  7. Select destination site(s).


  8. Click Next.

  9. Review the deployment details, then click Deploy.


  10. Check whether deployment was successful. View the Deployment Log for more information.
