Content Lock is a CV eCommerce franchiser and multisite feature. It can also be used to limit content editing to specific roles on a site. Contact Commerce Vision to enable.

How Content Lock Works
Content Lock adds a content-controlling role in your CMS. Users with this Content Administrator role can:
- lock and unlock content objects
- add, edit and delete locked objects
- control deploy settings (if Deploy Content is used with Lock Content)
Single site use
Content Lock allows the Content Administrator
Multisite networks
Deploy Content must also be enabled on the source site.
CMS Administrators and Content Administrators can enable and disable the content locking feature on the parent site after implementation by Commerce Vision.
To enable/disable locking:
- In the CMS, go to Settings → Settings → Feature Management → Content → Content Lock.
- Toggle ON/OFF Content Lock.
CMS Roles
By default, the Administrator and Content Administrator roles are able to lock/unlock a content area.
