Overview
Article Templates allow you to select specially designed template layouts available out of the box for static content (e.g., news articles, blogs, FAQs or any user-defined page that does not change much) as well as the flexibility to customise them or create new ones altogether. Article template layouts work in similar ways to other templates, using zones and widgets to organise content.
Article template customisation
Full access to template customisation requires the following:
- your site is on version 4.23+
- the Articles feature in Settings is enabled.
What Article Templates are available?
Three built-in article templates are available for all sites from the Articles tab, under the Content → Pages & Templates menu:
Article List Item Zoned Layout
This layout displays the list of articles for an article type. In the example, it is used to list available monthly newsletters
Depending on which version your site is on, you can customise these article templates and create new layouts.
