Use Deploy Content with with the Content Lock feature to allow a source site to remotely control specific content on target sites by sending locked content objects. Locked content cannot be edited on the target sites. This solution is ideal for organisations that want to keep the ‘look and feel' of related sites consistent. For instance, a franchise head office deploys locked pages or even just locked parts of a page for branding reasons. Or controls a franchisee-wide promotion campaign by creating it on the source site and deploying it to all sites at the same time. And when you want to unlock content on a target site, it’s simple. Just re-deploy the content in unlocked status.
