We know how critical Google Analytics with Tag Manager is for remarketing and reporting on many CV ecommerce websites. And we know the deprecation date of Google’s Universal Analytics (v3) is just around the corner (1st July 2023).  GA4 is now available in 2022.3. It is pre-configured to send unified UA and GA4 data. So for those with migration plans, this gives you time. Keep Selecting GA4 in the CMS suits both sites implementing Google Analytics for the first time and those looking to migrate from UA -  you can keep using UA and switch completely to GA4 completely only when you're satisfied its data is reproducing similar results to UA (or until the deprecation date.)

Benefits of CV ecommerce - GA4 integration

  • Allows sites currently on UA to continue using UA while collecting GA4 event data to compensate for the time period needed for GA4 to yield insights into user and purchaser behaviours

  • Does not require CV site owners/managers to implement UA-to-GA4 data structure changes themselves (we have done what is needed to capture website engagement at least equivalent to that for UA)

  • Is easy to migrate without a great technical of technical knowledge*
