Customer Self Service allows for order line notes to be entered by the user during checkout. An example of this might be a stationery requestioner noting the staff member for whom the product is being ordered.
This functionality is configured at the role level, as detailed below.
Step-by-step guide
To Configure Order Line Notes:
- Login as an Administrator.
- Navigate to 'Accounts' --> 'Role Maintenance' (/zRoles.aspx).
- Select the required role via radio button.
- Click the 'Functions' tab.
- Click 'Modify'.
- Set the value of the field 'Enable Order Line Notes' to 'Yes' or 'No' as required.
- Click 'OK' to save.
