Customer Self Service allows for order line notes to be entered by the user during checkout. An example of this might be a stationery requestioner noting the staff member for whom the product is being ordered. 

This functionality is configured at the role level, as detailed below.

Step-by-step guide

To Configure Order Line Notes:

  1. Login as an Administrator.
  2. Navigate to 'Accounts' --> 'Role Maintenance' (/zRoles.aspx).
  3. Select the required role via radio button.
  4. Click the 'Functions' tab.
  5. Click 'Modify'.
  6. Set the value of the field 'Enable Order Line Notes' to 'Yes' or 'No' as required.
  7. Click 'OK' to save.
