Some tablet devices might show in desktop mode by default instead of identifying themselves as a tablet device.

As of iOS13, iPads now render the desktop version of a site instead of a mobile or tablet mode version.
Other vendors may follow suit and hence "tablet" specific display option may not take effect due to these changes and will need to be considered for your implementation
